The man behind 21Bet

21Bet was incorporated on 26th August 2016 by Richard Hogg under the legal name of Viktra Business Ltd. Richard Hogg has solid experience within the gambling industry. 

From January 1996 to December 1999, Richard worked part-time as a club secretary for Kowloon RFC. As well as taking responsibility for all of the Clubs marketing and merchandising, he also negotiated investment and sponsorship to the Rugby Club through dealing with major Asian businesses.

Richard Hogg was first introduced to the online gaming industry in 1999 whilst working in Hong Kong as a Chief Operations Officer for Inside Track Limited. A company whose focus was primarily e-gaming. 

Richard moved to the UK market with the successful development of the Superodds brand which went onto acquire Centrebet in a £20m acquisition in 2004. At the time of his resignation as Director from Centrebet the online bookmakers were turning over £15m. 

After a brief spell in Costa Rica Richard then moved back to the UK to work with Inside Gaming and Playtech with a number of managed service gaming products. 

Richard has experience in national, and international, B2B, and B2C markets, including betting and gaming, leisure and sport, IT and financial services. Since being based in Asia for 7 years as well as Africa, the Americas and Europe, Richard is now based in London. In addition to listings, business sales, mergers and acquisitions, Richard is proficient in new business set up as well as existing business expansion specialising in the online betting (inc. spread) and gaming market place.

In January 2010 Richard founded slottymobile, a company that was dissolved on 5th May 2015.

In 2013 Hogg was the Founding Directory of The BiG Foundation, a company set up to focus on supporting those less fortunate with funds directed from the betting and gaming industry. See www.thebigfoundation.org.uk

Richard on Dragon’s Den

Richard Hogg the inventor of Salt Genie recently appeared on Dragons Den, it was part of the Autumn 2013 split series. Budding entrepreneur Richard Hogg had his three minutes of fame, pitching his unique and innovative invention ‘Salt Genie®’ to the five multi-millionaire panellists of BBC2’s current series of Dragons’ Den. The panel which included long term judges Deborah Meaden and Peter Jones, with new investor Kelly Hoppen, gave encouraging and favourable feedback to Salt Genie which is set to stir up the salt shaker market. Positive comments were forthcoming regarding the design and packaging with the Dragons also appreciating the product’s unique selling features. Inventor and designer Hogg, commented that the opportunity to pitch to the Dragons was a unique experience and that he felt proud to be invited onto the programme.
